This is my recipe for Pizza. I have made Pizza base, Pizza sauce at home. This Pizza base is very easy to make and without yeast. I have made it on gas, but you can make it in oven as well. Do like and share my recipe. Please follow me on Cookpad. Thank you! Happy Cooking!

Ingredients and spices that need to be Get to make Pizza:

  1. For Pizza dough
  2. 1 cup Maida
  3. 1/2 TSP Baking soda
  4. 1/2 TSP Baking powder
  5. 1/2 cup Yogurt (Curd)
  6. as required Water
  7. to taste Salt
  8. 1/2 TSP Mixed Herbs (Optional)
  9. 1 1/2 tbsp Oil
  10. as required Flour for dusting
  11. 2 cups Salt (for baking in kadhai)
  12. For Pizza sauce
  13. 5-6 medium sized Tomatoes
  14. 2-3 medium sized Onions
  15. 3 tbsp Olive oil
  16. 2 tbsp Garlic
  17. as required Oregano
  18. as per taste Chilli flakes
  19. as required Vinegar
  20. as per taste Salt
  21. 1 TSP Pepper
  22. 1 TSP Sugar

Steps to make to make Pizza

  1. First in a bowl take all the dry ingredients and mix it well together.
  2. Now in another bowl take all the wet ingredients and mix it well.
  3. Now combine both the wet ingredients with dry ingredients. The dough should be a little sticky and soft. If required add water.
  4. Now let the dough rest for 1 hour and knead it well for more 10-15 minutes.
  5. Now grease a Pizza plate with melted butter.
  6. Now take a portion of dough and roll it out a little thick. It should not be too thick also. And place it in the greased plate. Adjust the shape.
  7. Now take a big heavy Kadhai and spread out Salt in it and place a stand in the middle and cover it and let it heat for 5 minutes until the salt is nice and warm.
  8. Now place the pizza plate in it and bake it on medium flame for first 10 minutes and on low flame for another 5-10 minutes. Check it after 15 minutes, if it is not cooked than bake it again for 5 minutes on low heat.
  9. Now for Pizza sauce, first wash your Tomatoes and make X cut on the base of your tomatoes.
  10. Now set a pan for boiling water. Once the water has started boiling, add your X cut tomatoes and let them boil for 4-5 minutes on medium heat. Immediately transfer them in ice cold water to retain their colour.
  11. Now peel the skin of tomatoes and grind them. You can adjust the consistency, you can grind them coarsely or properly.
  12. Now heat a pan and add Olive Oil once the pan is heated.
  13. Add garlic and Onions and saute until the Onions are translucent. Add the tomato puree, salt, pepper.
  14. Cover the pan and let them cook for 5-10 minutes and add Oregano, Chilli flakes and Vinegar and further cook it for 3-4 minutes.
  15. Cool down the sauce and use it or store it in an airtight container.
    - The sauce can be stored in an airtight container only and it can be stored upto 1 months.
  16. Now just assemble everything. Take your Pizza base, add Pizza sauce, apply a layer of cheese and add veggies (I added Tomatoes, Onions and Capsicum), I added Pasta (it's completely optional to add Pasta) and again add a lot of mozzarella cheese and bake it on tawa or else the kadhai in which we baked the base.
