  17. 1 pinch Baking Soda
  18. 1/2 tbsp Dry Fenugreek Leaves
  19. 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  20. 1/2 tsp Coriander Seeds
  21. 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  22. 1/4 tsp Salt
  23. 1/2 tsp Ginger Paste
  24. 1/4 cup Chopped Onion
  25. 1 Finely Chopped Green Chilli
  26. Leaves Finely Chopped Coriander
  27. 1/2 cup Finely Chopped Fresh Spinach Leaves

Instructions to make to make Punjabi Kadhi Pakora

  1. In a wok add oil, fenugreek seeds, black mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let it splutter.
  2. Add chopped onion and green chillies. Fry it on a low flame.
  3. In a mixing bowl take yogurt, gram flour, garlic paste, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and whisk it nicely.
  4. Add water and pour it in the wok, stir it and let it cook.
  5. Take an another mixing bowl, add all the ingredients required for making the fritters.
  6. With the help of the water mix all the ingredients properly.
  7. In a fresh wok add sufficient oil to fry the fritters.
  8. After 15 -20 minutes stir the gram flour-yogurt mixture.
  9. Meanwhile prepare the tempering by adding all the ingredients except red chilli powder.
  10. Add salt and cook the gram flour- yogurt mixture for an another 20-25 minutes. Add red chilli powder in the tempering after putting off the flame.
  11. Take a serving dish, pour the mixture, add the fritters, again pour the mixture and finally pour the tempering over the kadhi.
  12. Punjabi style Kadhi Pakora is ready to serve.
