- Marination
- 1 kg boneless chicken thighs
- 570 g yoghurt
- 3-4 lemon juice
- 1 tbsp kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon garlic minced
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tbsp paprika powder
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp black pepper
- Bread
- 12 tortilla wraps
- Tahini sauce
- 1 cup tahini sauce
- Garlic sauce (toomb)
- 2 cups garlic sauce
- Salald
- 3-4 onions Julienne
- 3-4 tomatoes diced
- 3 cucumbers length wise
- 1 bunch parsley
Instructions to make to make Chicken Shawarma
- Clean your chicken thighs and marinate the chicken with all spices and ingredients in marination section above. Store it in a cool dry place for at least 2 hours
- Take 1 big onion and cut it the ends of it (up and down). And stick 3 skewers into it. Place that onion in a ramekin

- Stack the marinated chicken thighs on to the skewers.

- Bake it in preheated oven at 200c for almost 2 hours. If you are using chicken breast reduce the time accordingly!
- Place the ramekin on a tray and start trimming your chicken
- Now throw the salad ingredients in your chicken and using your knife chop the mixture lightly as so that the chicken pieces are bite sized.
- Get a tortilla wrap, I made these at home, you can use store bought. Let me know in comments if you want a recipe for these wraps

- Now paste some garlic sauce on your wrap, and fill it with the mixture. Place a cucumber and apply some tahini sauce on top. Wrap it and grill it until golden brown
