Ingredients and spices that need to be Make ready to make Veg Tawa Pizza:
- For Pizza base
- 1 cup Maida
- 1/2 cup Ata
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 Tbsp oil
- 3 Tbsp yogurt
- as per taste Salt
- as required Water to knead the dough
- For Toppings
- 3-4 mushrooms sliced
- 1 Green capsicum cubed
- 1 Yellow capsicum cubed
- 1 Red capsicum cubed
- 2-3 green olives sliced
- 1-2 black olives sliced
- 1-2 garlic cloves sliced fine
- 1 medium size onion sliced fine
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
- leaves Few basil
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- as required Mozzarella cheese grated
- For Tomato sauce
- 2-3 garlic cloves sliced
- 1 large tomato purée
- 1 medium size onion sliced fine
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 Tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- as per taste Salt
Steps to make to make Veg Tawa Pizza
- For pizza dough - in a bowl add Maida, Ata. In a small bowl mix baking soda, baking powder and oil and add to the bowl of Ata & Maida, add salt, whisked yogurt and mix well.

- Make a soft dough with adequate water and give it to rest for 1 hour

- For Toppings - in a wok heat olive oil and add sliced onion, cubed mushrooms, cubed capsicums, olives and sauté on low flame for 1-2 mins. Add chilli flakes, oregano, basil leaves and stir. Set aside


- For tomato base - in the same wok heat olive oil, add sliced garlic and onions, stir until translucent. Add tomato purée, vinegar, chilli flakes, oregano, sugar and salt. Stir



- On low flame let the tomato base dry a little. Set aside.
- To make the pizza - on the kitchen top drizzle Maida flour a little and by pressing ones fingers make a base. Pizza base cannot be rolled with a rolling pin. Prick with a fork all through the surface


- Place the pan on heat and on low flame place the dough base. Cover and let it cook for 2-3 mins



- Flip the side and apply the tomato base, all vegetables for toppings, basil leaves, olives, mozzarella cheese grated, dried oregano, few chilli flakes, more grated mozzarella and on low flame covered let it cook until the cheese melts.


- Set aside, drizzle olive oil and plate sliced. Enjoy
